yes, i found the trick. throw them away and get rush slip-ons, that's what i did. very pleased with 2" baffles. no removing new s/e baffles.
[sm=exactly.gif]That's what I did after drilling holes in mine. Worth every extra penny I spent!

Default RE: question about screamin eagle slip-ons

I have a set of the SE II and I removed the baffles. After removing the bolts that held the baffles, I used a pair of plyers to grip the baffles and struck the plyers with a hammer and they came right out. I loved the sound as it was very loud but, unfortunatley, my 2 up didn't. So now I have three sets of SOs for the bike; the stock, the gutted SEs and now a set of Rush 2" baffles. I can live with the Rush since they have removable baffles. In the event I want toenjoy the loudness again, I simply remove the bolts and pull out the Rush baffles. Very loud too.

I pulled the baffles out of the SEII's it was pretty simple. I took the bolts out of the SE but they are not budging.
Once you pull the baffles out is there any other tuning that should be done?
