I have to go with #3, as far as performance goes I'm about done now with a 103, ported heads after this year it will be more show, still waiting for my fender to return from the painter. My exaust is what I like for now. I don't want to go 100mph from one place to another just want to ride all day on a cool looking sled with good power. If I want more I'd build one instead of buying a new bike and modifying it. I have spent, well not sure how much but enough to realize that I could have had a nice looking one to ride and a quick one too for almost the same money I have in this.

I am #3, I have done everything on my bike to look how I like it, but it has to run good , handle right and be durable for everyday riding. And it doesn't take long to rack up $10,000 in mods!!!

I spent 10K modding a 2003 RK Classic...mostly bling & bars & stuff...only performance mods were slip-ons and a breather kit.

As for the 10 large...doubtful I'll ever do that again.

Default I can bring myself to add it all up....

months and months of mods, and the cashflow required was WAY more than I wanted to supply...but Im happy with the result! And I was a #3 category - couldnt leave anything alone cams, port and polish, dyno, and then the custom everything else!

Nice bike. I really like the way the front turn signals are built into the handlebars, very clean looking.

Personally, I started with function. Detachable windshield, saddlebags, sissybar, and more bags. Then soon thereafter, some simple performance mods like pipes and air. Lately, it's been more about tweaking and personalization for me. I'm not really trying to keep up with the Jones, but if I see something I like, I may get it. This could also be just something simple like red spark plug wires (not shown since parts are being powder coated) or the one-of-a-kind custom horn cover that I had made. For me, the LED headlight was also about safety though it could blend into function as well as bling I guess.

Cali Matt, Thats one sick ride.

For me...I'm in the #1 group. Right now I'm working on the Looks.
Maybe as the ride gets older I'll start with performance mods.
