Okay, am I done now??? I won't go through everything again, but the latest additions include Motherwell Solo Rack, floorboard inserts, hand levers, RSD derby and points covers, gloss frame cover under seat, and frame inserts by tail-art.com. I was thinking about going with a black Performance Machine air cleaner with the wire mesh, but I'm kinda liking the black stock cover.
I'm still lovin' that Bones man! How are you liking the LED headlight? Last I read you hadn't been out for a ride at night with it.
I took it out this past weekend and all I can say is it's amazing. I REALLY balked at the price, but I have to say it was a good investment for several reasons.
What do you think of the stock A/C cover? Keep it or go with a more modern black one from Performance machine? This has been causing me some agony! Also, not sure the black anodized one from HD would look right...the inverted "V" model. Btw, I painted the center nut on the stock cover black and it made a big difference for such a small detail.
With the look you have going, I'd keep the stock AC, no question. The PM AC looks awesome, but I'd say it's too modern looking with the lines of stock exhaust.
Thanks for the opinions. You make some good points and I agree with what you said. I've only done the SE AC upgrade and added Rush slip-ons. I'll leave the stock AC cover on it until (if) I add complete aftermarket pipes. It does match the stock lines of the current pipes pretty well. Now, if the weather holds, I'll take her for a ride in the morning!
