I'm looking for the same info for my little 5 y. o. girl... got a nice full face helmet. She is strong enough to hang on tight - need to make sure she can secure foothold and can't reach pegs. So, Dissociative, you're not the only soul that's thinking the way you are! I'll let you know if I come up with a good solution!

I putt putted my kids around with them sitting in front of me until they were big enough to sit behind; I have another young-un so looking forward to seeing your pictures. It's not like I'll be cruising the interstate at 80mph with them.

sorry for late reply...

what i did was get a set of take off pegs from a donor bike and cut them down to the min. amount i could still retaining the meat for the bolt to grab. they can be from a softail or a sporty as long as they bolt through the same way as stock softails do...

cut em down and replace strut bolts with corrected size to mount there.

Kids love em...and wife will sometimes use em to stretch out and lay back against the sissy for change in posture. shes short so she gets away with it.

as you can see i opted for set of factory mounts below the very short high mounts...highs lay flat against strut and when using lowers are not touching passenger legs at all.
