Default Installed the fat cat today. Quick question

I didnt install the bracket that holds the muffler up, I thought it tilted the muffler uneven at an upward angle. It seems to be on there pretty firm with nothing holding the muffler up and its straight.

Anyone else skip the muffler bracket?

Without the bracket the muffler will shake around like mad. You need a bracket to hold the weight of the muffler.

Pipes would probably crack after some time of heating and cooling with the vibration and regular bumps and jolts of the road. Either have someone fab up a mount for you, or make some "extenders" for the original mount to get pipe to the location you want it.

I would definitely put the bracket on. I can't picture the Fat Cat muffler tilting up.
Can you take a picture of the installed exhaust with and without the bracket?
You did read that you should loose attach the complete exhaust, then tighten it starting from the back and moving forward.
Are then any pictures on this forum, including mine, of a Fat Cat where the muffler is tilting up?

If you pipe appears crooked you can always make the holes in the bracket a tad bigger with a drill to line it up perfectly, although mine appears perfect right out of the box.
