I have just purchased a 2001 Night train with baloney cut slip ons. Dose anyone know how or has removed the baffles from these???

Most baffles are just tac welded or bolted on. You should be able to tell by inspection.

I would however advise against removing the baffles. You will most likely lose power and torque. Generally causes the motor to run like a bag of smashed A-holes as well.

Baffles are usually bolted in with a bolt on the bottom of the exhaust. If you have heat shields it might be under them.

I just got my pipes back from jet hot and I was curious as to how the pipes would sound with the baffles out. Installed the pipes fired it up and basically broke out in laughter as the sound was pathetic. I thought it would make my bike rumble more but it sounded like a whacked out lawn mower... needless to say the baffles are back in.
