Default Night Train risers question

I am thinking about going to 4 1/2" risers on my Night Train. Something like these:

http://www.phatperformanceparts.co/B...2_p/490558.htm

http://www.debrix.com/Straight-4-5-H...25-2189-vt.htm

How can I tell what risers will fit? It looks like most have 1/2" x 13 threads. Do most HD risers have the same fitment?

First link doesn't work, but yes, most have same fitment. You can go as low as 4" without issues of hitting the tank with stock bars.

I just put 3.5 on mine and it did hit the tank. Switched out to 4.5 and not hitting the tank but throttle cables will hit the gas cap. Good excuse for me to order the flush mount gas cap and fuel gauge so I did

Let me try again:

I'm thinking about getting the HD fat drag bars in black, but I'll probably keep the stock ones for now.

Be aware that come risers have the handlbar mounting screw threads in them and some use a nut on the bottom side (recessed a little but not enough to not see). The threaded ones make a cleaner install.

Just pull one of your stock ones and measure it.

I was able to reuse my stock bolts when I changed my bars.

What if I'm going from a 6" to 4.5" riser?
