Default Turn Signals Fixed!!!

All be it, nor by me. After beating my head against a wall for a week chasing wire with a
volt meter, I bit the bullet and took it to the shop. They just called and said it was a loose wire in the turn signal. I took the signal apart, tested wires, connections, plugs, etc and had no luck. Oh well, they let me return the module I bought and didn't need and I learned a ton.

Thanks to everyone for all the help! I'm picking it up tomorrow.

Well, the troubleshooting steps were right! Maybe you just needed another beer or something. Oh well, glad you're back and running! Roll on, brotha!

I had a good time reading all the info on your valiant effort to get this fixed, quite informative IMHO.

Glad everything worked out in the end.

At least it's fixed. I know you tried and like you said, learned more about your bike in the process.

Man, this was a nail biter. Sounds like it was an intermittent connection. Those are very difficult to find.

TX, I am relieved..

I learned a ton and hopefully it helps someone else out. O have gone from knowing nothing about wrenching on bikes to feeling like I could rebuild mine from the ground up. Thanks in large part to you guys. Maybe i'll leave the electrical to someone else though, LOL!
