Default RE: 07 Fatboy Sundowner Seat

It probably really depends on the individual rider and the bike the seat is being used on. For me, on the Springer Classic, it dropped me a good amount... into a better position. But that really probably depends on my height (5'10"), inseam (31"), etc.

I love the seat. I bought it for two-up riding with the wife figuring I would leave it off when I'm just solo... but I've left it on. It has a good deal of back support and feels much more comfortable than my stocker. Pretty soft seat.

I do know that many people don't like the seat because the look of it is fairly large... it has a wide pan and the passenger portion is pretty big; comfy for the passenger, but not appeasing to people preferring that chopped bike look.

I'm not sure about the difference between the 51570-00 and 51570-00A. The one I went with specifically came with the bracket that would fit on my FLSTSC while the one they had in-shop had a bracket that was too short. The only way I solved this conundrum was contacting Zanotti Motor and asking them about fitment. They were *very* helpful. Contact them and ask the difference between the part numbers. Thanks Panamoncreel,

Funny you mention Zanotti. My mates and I here in Singapore use them a lot. They are very helpful and actually 20 - 40% cheaper than using the Dealer here including the airfreight. If we want to but anything from our dealer we have to wait min 4 weeks for consolidated shipping. I have been waiting 5 weeks for some highway peg mounts. Zanotti gets us our parts in 7 - 10 days so I was planning to buy it from them anyway.

Thanks again,...I will sent John a e-mail.

Cheers from Singapore....

Yeah, if only I had known about Zanotti's when I bought the bike. I get sick to my stomach thinking about the amount of money I would have saved on that whalloping initial amount of accessories I put into her. [sm=sick.gif]
