Old wives tales is all it is. In years past it may have been the case but it's 2011 and they have made big strides in oil or I should say additives

When I built my 103 I went strait to syn. Hasn't caused me any greif at all.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the stacks of cash the MoCo is saving using "cheaper" Dino oil?
