You must be suffering from radiation sickness from Japan,ha ha. I saw that bike next to a denim Lo at a dealer and it looked like a toy. It almost looks like the Honda Fury. Just my 2 cents. To each his own.
Like u said, to each his own. The lo is hideous in my opinion. No offense to lo owners.. I would pick the blackline over the lo...
I just bought a second Harley. I currently ride a 2003 Heritage Springer. The two bikes that I was comparing was the Blackline and the Wide Glide. The Blackline features that I liked the most out of the two bikes was the fact that it had a balanced engine, blacked out lowers and plain out, just the style of the bike. Features I did not like were the bars and the thin rear tire. I decided to go with the Wide Glide. The features that I like the most on the WG is the flame paint, rear tire and the rear fender. I guess harleys are made in many flavors, we all like something different. This bike is totally different from the FLSTSi that I have been riding, however I am starting to appriciate the raw ride of my Wide Glide...
[quote=xjayx;8163959]I Placed my order today for a set of RSD king apes in black. I plan on keeping two individual bars and just cutting off my stock bars and reusing the mounts and weld them to the king apes after I cut the riser mounting off. Hopefully it all goes well I'll see how it looks when my bars get here and I'll see how doable it's going to be.
@xjayx: i just bought my first Harley which is the vivid black Blackline. Can't pick it up until I get back from Iraq in a couple months though. Just wondering if you had put the RSD handle bars on your Blackline yet? Any pictures? Also, I currently live in Oahu and was wondering if you know a good place to get something fabricated to make the new handle bars work. I would like to put on some Carlini Evil Springer bars.
Howzit Bro, You got that bike lookin' pretty sick!
By the look of that pic from the dealership, I think thats the one I sat on to check it out.
Moving the rear sigs made it look cleaner. Enjoy the new ride!

Looks good, saw one at the dealership yesterday. Is it possible to put the speedo back on the tank? Grab a used tank mount from ebay? For me, that would be the first mod.
The way I see it when I go to events or big shows, nobody has the same bike. Some like fat tires, some like skinny tires, some like bags, some like their bike chopped down to almost nothing. The only thing that I ask you to do with you ride is Ride it like you stole it and enjoy every minute of it.

One thing these guys could do is check out the Sporty section, there are a few takes on relocating the speedo down to the left side. I know Joker or Performance machine has a kit.
I like the look of the Big Radius Pipes. I went with the short shots on my Blackline. I love my bike. It is the first Harley or motorcycle for that matter that I have owned. Got a 300 mile trip planned for this weekend, can't wait!
