Yeah neither do I the only problem I see with the bars is a lack of variety available which should be resolved soon

I bet Bill @ http://www.brcustomcycles.com/Home_Page.php could make some cool bars for it if you're not happy with the stock ones.
Or new tripple trees and go with a set of bars with a digital speedo mount built right into them.

are those bars fixed to the top yoke (triple tree) , or can they be taken off and risers fitted? i think Harley missed a trick here if it limits the after market options , the bike is coming along really nice , I'm glade your happy with it , and its a great thread , a lot of people that wouldn't have given this bike a second look will be using your pics as a base for there mods , its a pity you cannot patent your ideas . good luck n keep the pics coming

I'm really surprised that more bars haven't come out yet.. I mean (after briefly checking one out at the dealer) it looks like they're just individual bars bolts into the tree..without any risers, right? just seems to me like it'd be pretty easy to fabricate a set with a longer downtube out of a piece of pipe or something.. idk

You might want to check with Loner Industries. The '09 StreetBob I had came with built-in risers, sort of a similar problem you have with the BL. He made a set of risers in various lengths that worked well and looked great. Maybe he can do the same for you...

I Placed my order today for a set of RSD king apes in black. I plan on keeping two individual bars and just cutting off my stock bars and reusing the mounts and weld them to the king apes after I cut the riser mounting off. Hopefully it all goes well I'll see how it looks when my bars get here and I'll see how doable it's going to be.

You must be suffering from radiation sickness from Japan,ha ha. I saw that bike next to a denim Lo at a dealer and it looked like a toy. It almost looks like the Honda Fury. Just my 2 cents. To each his own.
