Default Deuce drag bar question

I am thinking of changing out the stock handle bars on my deuce to drag bars. The problem i have is deciding on which way to go, the position of where my bars are now is perfect, as far as comfort and reach go. I am guessing i should measure the position of them as to where they are now and then order the new bars based upon those numbers.

Any input would be great.

Thanks in advance.

How about Fatboys?
Basically same setup, different forks.
I've had drags for a couple years, been through 3 sets of risers if you want to discuss.

I am in the same situation bluedeuce. I have an '07 Deuce that I want to put drag bars on but I'm afraid that the riding position will not be as good as it is now. Can anyone comment on this who has been through the change?

Hey BD!!
I have drag bars on my Deuce but they are curved in a little more
than just straight and are just a touch longer as well. Check my gallery.

I have an 04 Deuce. I put on the Carlini 7 inch rise 1 1/2 inch clean sweeps. I love them. I am 5'10" and the reach is a little more than stock but very comfy for me. I have 21K miles on my bike so that tells you I ride it. The supersweeps are a little more pull back, but you should reach a little with drags. The 9inch rise cleansweeps are about the same pullback as stock but I didn't like how tall they looked from the front.

I've got Big Buffalo 1.5" bars. I think the pullback is 8". They curve some in the risers so they aren't straight up. I like the position. A little lower and a tad more forward than stock, but my hands fall right where the grips are. The drag bars really look good on the Deuce.
