As far as sun exposure, I run my iphone on a ram mount out in the sun all day all the time. No issues whatsoever. Those units are really nice, but not for me. Too pricey. Mine looks out of place but I really don't care as I like to have access to skip[to the next song without looking down at my tank.

Pretty sweet but it looks like it's only meant to work with speakers since I don't see any place to plug in earbuds.

I have never seen this before,I think its the way Ill go. It will work on the bike with ear buds and in my jeep and van to hold the phone when Im running it through the stereo aux.

Thats what I like about this forum, always a lot of good ideas and reference info

The back is really soft and it hasn't left any marks on my denim paint, but it sits just as good on my leather bib...

I have one of these and did notice scratches in my clear coat after using it. I keep my phone in my tank bib pouch now. I ran the wire for my Boom audio speakers under the console and into the pouch.
