I have a Screaming Eagle air cleaner kit with the HD air filter. I just bought a Battistini air cleaner cover that is supposed to fit the Arlen Ness air filter and any other stage 1 air filter (I assume, incl. HD), according to their fitment guide. The cover came in today and looks awesome! The fit is not so awesome. The cover almost goes over the air filter, but doesn't quite clear the widest part near the backing plate.
1. Do I send the cover back?
2. Is the HD air filter simply too big?
3. Is there another air filter (Arlen Ness) that fits the same 3-hole mounting but slightly smaller so I can use the cover?
Wow! Yes, that certainly is good service....especially since I didn't expect a direct response from the manufacturer! The good news is I'm keeping the cover....I'll post pics after I get it on. I'm also considering the matching horn cover.
Every manufacture should be as keen to fix problems, without you guys help, advice and of course purchases none of us would be in business. Never worry about contacting me for help.

So, I pose a question to you guys about an air cleaner cover I just bought, but didn't fit. The next day I get a response (above) from the owner of Battistini, Inc; Rikki Battistini! Holy SH**! Really? The owner?! Not only that, I call him, leave a message, and he calls me back within 20 minutes. Here I am talking live with the owner of the company about my air cleaner cover. Bottom line, he's helping me with the filter issue and all will be well and good in a matter of days.
Now, that is outstanding cutomer service, from a great company, all stemming from a question posed on this great Forum.
Don't know about you, but that goes a long way for me.
