New Question regarding layback license plate holder

Question New Question regarding layback license plate holder
I just recieved my curved layback license plate holder from Kurakyn (sp?) I noticed there was a thin strip of foam with 3M tape on the bottom.

It is listed as a part that is supposed to be included but.... No where in the instructions does it say where this is used.

I called tech support and left a message 2 days ago, but they can't be bothered to call back. Anyone figure out what this piece is for?

Are swigarm tag holders legal in maine?..not in ma.

put the same one on my bike after i put on a fatboy fender. i think its to remount the reflector from the stock mount. i threw it out and moved on....

it goes on the swing arm under the clamp so the clamp doesn't scratch the paint thats how i did it

My Kuryakyn curved "laydown" goes on the fender.
