Default Heritage exhaust

Ok here goes..I don't know if this has been addressed before so I'm gonna go ahead and ask.
I have an 03 Heritage classic and want to put the stock dual exhaust setup off a Heritage springer on my bike. Mine is fuel injected. I aquired a complete set off a 2007 Heritage springer. I noticed that on the aftermarket true dual setup they go from 2000-2006. Will there be a problem putting the pipes from the 07 on my 03 ?

I wouldn't think that will work. You're going from 88 to 96 inch motors. I think the stroke/length of the cylinders may be different. This would throw everything off.

The reason for the difference is that the 07 and newer bikes have O2 sensors. get a set of sensor plugs and you will be fine.

+1 A lot of pipes for the Heritage list from like 86 and up, but pre 07 need O2 sensor plugs. I'm sure you'll be fine. The engine size really shouldn't make a difference. Not sure what you'd have to do for tuning, but you should be able to make it work.

Thanks for the replies guys....I figured I'd have to get plugs for the o2 sensors. I was hoping that there weren't any frame changes or differences to where the pipes wouldn't fit at all. My Heritage is a 98" also anyway..Has Screamin Eagle big bore kit.
