Guys,,Im looking to buy a forward control extension kit for my 2005 Night Train.
Im finding it very difficult to see which one to buy. The only one i saw wich appears to be ok is the Kuryakyn 3" extension kit.
I like to ride with my legs more extended than ususal and maybe 3" will be not enought....
I live in Argentina and NO ONE has any of the kits in stock so i have to get them from the online shops in US.
PLEASE!! I need some advise with this issue cuz im afraid to buy something that wont be good later.
I have the stock controls and find myself throwin my feet up on the top of my pegs like a foot stool Iwonder if i need longer controls or if I like to just let them rest
Saint666,
I just put the Kuryakyn 3" extension on my 05 deuce. I am 6'2" and my legs are extended well forward. Seeing that you are 2" shorter then me, I would think your legs will be extended far enough.

Both extensions work fine with softails ,...The kkuryakyn ones are $399 and the Ness ones are $189,...
and both of them claim to be 3".So i guess illl have to choose from the 2 of them.
Might also consider the factory extension kit. I'm 6'2" and put one on my '04 and would never go back. Factory kit is 3" and is a easy swap. Anything more than that 3" and you are starting to get real close to the front wheel and fender.
I have the peformance machine 3" contour forward controls and love the way they look and feel. However being 6'5" I am not completley stretched out. I did have a seat made that was thinner which allowed me to sit a little farther back on the bike, that should help you get the extra inch that you are looking for.
