Saint,
This is a great place to get information and opinions on just about everything, not just HD's. There are so many products out there and most time you see only a picture. You think it is exactly what you need until you get it and put in on and then you hate it. I am looking at getting a new solo seat and have done a ton of research but have only been able to sit on a couple of seats I am looking at.

Yeah u r right,,,I was worried about the temperature of my bike cuz i didnt know about V-Twin models,,and
fortunately i was told here not to worry and i`ve learned a couple of good things about my bike .
I really apreciate everybodys help and i can see peple here love their bikes and are happy to help each other.
And as we all know ,,its hard to find a place where every single person is open to help and give u the best advice
without asking for anything in return!
Thats why i like this place!![sm=icon_cheers.gif]

Saint,
I was overcome by events this weekend and did not get the pictures taken of my extension. I am going out of town until thursday and will get the pics up as soon as I can. Sorry for the delay.

I just installed the Arlen Ness 3" extended control kit yesterday - $151 from Eastern Performance Cycles off eBay. Kit consists of brackets that physically move your stock controls 3" forward (someone here had a great tip to paint the bolt heads black before installing, which was an excellent suggestion), a longer shift connector rod, and a longer, braided steel rear brake line (actually, it ended up being an inch or two TOO long for my 06 Deuce, but a little meandering in its course soaked up the excess). Maybe an hour and a half all told, plus bleeding the rear brake after install - with the bolt heads already painted the night before. Pretty easy, even for an all-thumbs type like me. Took it out today and the added comfort is WONDERFUL. I'm really happy with it.
