So last night I sanded/scuffed and taped up my front wheel in preparation of painting it. Reason is I got a hold of a crossbones rear wheel and want the front to match.
Taping it up was tedious work to say the least but I was able to finish that and get a coat of self etching primer on it. Went out to the garage 1st thing this morning and lightly sanded and hit it with a 2nd coat of primer.
Got the first coat of black on it this morning as well and while I was waiting for that to dry I installed my flush mount fuel gauge and cap in black gloss.
Later this afternoon I will install my new RSD Venturi contrast cut air cleaner and yes, I will be taking and posting pictures later once all the tape comes off.
