I am thinking of having to set on my Softail-Custom

original for the sunday riding with my wife ( the King Queen seat is extra in duo )

and for the week , change the all rear (struts included and OEM rear fender ) to mount my solo mod with a short fender and solo seat too

just to have two bikes in one

I love what this bike can look like after a few mods but it also has to appease the wife as she loves to go for the weedend ride. 2 bikes are not an option..lol

if you dont want to lower it i suggest the longer fender it hides the gap.....as far as the second seat my wife loves it, its wide, a lil firm at first but all seats need to be broke in...you will be happy if you get it, its nice to go from sic to 2 up in 3 seconds...anythings better then that second seat with the rocker thats for sure....

You MUST lower the bike, the fender will otherwise stick up far too much.

The 2nd seat fits with the shortest fender, it will cover it completely actually!!!

To shortest fender looks really cool, and can be used to install a centre led strip. See signature picture and in my blog

can you adjust the ride hight with the shocks? Do you need to do anything to the front end?

Ok, I want to get this setup ordered before riding season is fully on.

I am going to go with the 24in heartland rear fender, heartlands second seat.

With the heartland set up, what is used for brake/tail/ license plat lights? I want to be fairly legal so it need to be as close to the rear of the bike as possible

And possibley some shotgun shocks

Does anyone have and input that would help

Most people put a side mount plate with a Heartland kit.

This is what I figured. I just want to make sure I find a good horizontal plated holder that has plate lighting, brake and tail lights and mounts on the axle. As I will have a passenger ever now and then and don't want any leg interference
