Default exhaust question

I recently purchased a freedom performance union 2 into 1 pipe for my bike it gets here on friday and i am currently running a thunder header with th baffle cut off so its wide open. Do I need to re-jet my carb if im planning on taking the removable baffle out of the new pipe or should i be good to go. I turn all my own wrenches but im a little ignorant when it comes to my carb and the jets.

I usually call the manufacturer and ask them what they recommend. I'm in the same boat, just switched over to a fatcat. You'll probably just have to change the slow jet.

Aren't you going to lose your low end torque by removing the baffles?

You may want to think twice about removing the baffles entirely. You will definitely have some performance issues doing that.

The difference between one 2 into 1 and another varies greatly. I'd say put the new one on, ride it a little and see how it is. I bet you can just adjust your mixture screw if need be.
