Hardbags on a softtail ?

I was wondering if anyone has put hardbags on their Softtail? I have a nighttrain and have wanted to put hardbags on it, but not sure if you could or how great it would look. If you have any pictures please post them.

It can be done. Check out easy brackets or bubbasbrakes. They both have kits for this. As far as a pic, I can't remeber who has done it her, but I know someone has.

I did it for my roadtrip. I bought a set of used hard bags (from an Electra Glide), painted them flat black, and mounted them using Ghost Brackets. They worked great I did 3000 miles with no problems. I did reinforce the bags insode with sheet metal. You'll have to remove or relocate your rear turn signals. I have the Kuryakyn Panacea talilight, so I just took mine off for the trip.
