Congrats on the new bike. Sounds like you have a pretty good plan...but it never ends!

I say dont roll any small extras into the financing, that will start you off being "upside down" on what you owe vs. what the cycle is worth..go ahead and throw the pipes and stage 1 kit in if you "HAVE TO" otherwise I would order them from DR. V-TWIN but the "small" items you listed are ones you should be able to buy out of pocket or do like I do and just buy a part every weekend it helps absorb the HD Stealer shock to your bank account..JMO

I second this didn't think of it. Do not finance the extra mods if at all possible. That will be adding negative equity to the bike. You want to keep a positive equity at all times if possible. So if you get the itch to trade it one day you can without having to come out of pocket to get out of negative numbers.

Dealers give you pennies on the dollar for mods. Keep all your stock parts so you can put them back on when you go to sell it then you can ebay or sell them on here. You will get more of your money back doing it this way verses trading it to the dealer.

I noticed that your discount stipulates "installed". Be clear about whether the 15% discount includes labor. if not, nothing would keep them from just adding the 15% back into the labor charges.

And I'll go against the grain here and say not to worry about rolling the extras you want into the financing. On a new bike you will be upside down as soon as you ride it off the lot, and being underwater doesn't really matter anyway unless you plan to sell or trade it before it's paid off--and the more you make it to your liking, the more likely you are to hang on to it. Just make sure your insurance covers the extras in case of an accident and you'll be good to go.

Thanks everybody! I have some time to think about this and will probably look for the best prices on V&H Pipes, etc. and make my uncle do all the work for me! Hee hee.

Buy used with some pipes and bags already installed. Win Win and you save a ton of freakin money. Harley will finance on used scoots too if that is an issue.
