Default Adding Security and ABS to 2011 Fatboy?

I purchased a 2011 FatBoy without security and ABS, I know that I can add the security module, but can I add the ABS as well?

When I asked this I was told ABS has to come from the factory. Hopefully someone else might chime in with a different answer.

Only way is to trade in for one with the security package from what I've been told

I have never heard of an aftermarket or an HD ABS kit. If they did make one, I would expect it to be quite expensive as it would have to include the ABS module, new wiring, wheel sensors, and other parts.

Your best bet might be to look for a bike with ABS the next time you think about trading.

No, even if you did go out and buy the parts the cost of parts and labor would not be worth it, if you really want it sell the bike and buy one with the ABS you will be a lot of $ ahead

Why the hell didn't you take the ABS package when you had the chance? I'm guessing you got a great deal on someone's used bike they'd only had for a few months? That's too bad they didn't get the ABS. I wish they'd offered it last year.

I just took delivery of an 11 Fatboy with Security and ABS. It is well worth the money. My car should have this security system feature. ABS I am told has to be factory. Also great for resale depending on where you live.

Adding the security seems to be pretty easy. I can't add ABS my air compressor is in the way.
