I do not know your budget (well I think I know you are crazy enough to do it ), but here is my thought, and I think it will look great, I plan to do it when I get a chance.. if you are going to change the Rocker box Covers, the lower part if it is PC'ed red (high temp of course), it will give the engine this small Red strip between the heads and the Chrome rocker box. could be elegant.
Another thought is of course is some custom red rings on the push-rod covers.
I like to channel my dreams through you Drew I think
I am not into adding much more red at all. Just very simple and non overpowering touches of red. The rocker boxes is a cool idea but far too much for my taste. Same goes for the pushrod tube rings. But, thanks for the ideas. The more I look at the bike, the more I think it will stay as it is for a while until I find the perfect thing.
Now if we could only convince you to put the Samsons back on.....
Love my Samson's but the power loss out of the hole is the only thing I don't care for at all. Love the sound and the looks. At some point I may end up moving to the Fatcat. Most likely not this year.
Yup. IF anyone wants freshly painted black bags with a red pin stripe with cycle sounds speaker bezel lids and all hardware, etc I have them for sale. With the speakers, amp, everything.
I think it will look sweet stripped down. I'm all for the minimalistic approach, it makes things simple. Maybe if you could find some matching red plug wires.
