Pulled in to the station and was waiting for my friend to get gas. Decided to smoke a quick cigarette while I was waiting. Didn't even thing about the fact that I hadn't put the stand down while waiting. So I leaned the bike over and it kept going, my buddy said I was making chipmunk noises trying to keep the bike from going over before he was able to get over and help me.
Remember it only take a moment for things to go bad. Be Safe
I don't smoke. Hmmm... MAybe another reason not to?
Okay, enough with being a smart*ss. Glad it didn't go over. That could have sucked. I have ridden off a couple times and forgot to raise the stand. I guess it happens lol.
Talking **** to my buddies while backing into a parking spot on a big ride = me leaning the bike over onto a kick stand that wasn't deployed. Luckily the mini apes helped give me enough leverage to keep it from hitting the ground. At least we've got those lovely memories burned into our brains so we don't do it again.
Did your buddy have a good laugh at the chipmunk noises, haha! I would have laughed to hard to help. Should say "oh sht, oh sht" instead so someone doesn't crack up instead of helping.
