Maybe stick with 20W 50, but I don't want to start an oil debate.

I love oil threads, lol. I have no idea why but I'm drawn to them and cant help but read every post. I think it's a sickness.

I'm changing bars so new tranny fluid, bikes been sitting for a few months (pretty much), so new oil, decided "fvck it", gonna change them all and go synthetic.

Ordered up the Red Line "V-Twin Power Pack"

http://www.redlineoil.com/product.aspx?pid=105&pcid=19

also ordered some of their suspension fluid instead of the SE fork oil for changing my fork springs.

http://www.redlineoil.com/product.aspx?pid=29&pcid=18

First time I've ever spent over $100 for oil, hope it's all good stuff.

Looks like the description on their site is a little off, it says :

For 2007-up H-DŽ motorcycle with the 96-inch engine, users must purchase one extra bottle of Primary Chain Case Oil, since that bike's capacity is 38 oz (45 oz dry), rather than the 32 oz capacity for an Evo or Big Twin case

But my Service Manual for 2010 Softail, says 32oz for primary (Wet).

Cool oil change

Just my personal choice, and as Dr.V has said, sometimes heavy isn't better.
