I recently had 204 cams fitted, with the pushrods etc... My mate has the 211's fitted to his and it seems a bit quicker. I have a 09 Nightrain and he has a Fatboy, both 96 cubes.
What cams would be the best to get the most speed, without going to the 103 cube???
Check out protwin.com or head-quarters.com and look into the hq500 for your 96. Also check out their forum where "Boz" has just done some dyno work with those cams.
I got 92 hp and 98 ft lbs tq out of my 96 inch touring bike with Woods
tw-408-44. They are a mid to top end cam and pull really hard. A buddy with the woods tw 555 got 90 hp and 99 ft lbs tq out of his 96 inch touring also. Both bikes have D&D fatcats and SE tuners. I would recomend the 408-44s even though they really like compression also but hey future mods!?
I got 85 hp and 103 ft lbs of torque of my 96 with SE 204 cams. I also have a SE heavy breather A/C and a 2 into 1 thunderheader. The 204's are great cams in the 96.
I would love to see cooperation between se204 and se211,I think the 204 will make more useful power and 211 will outperform up top but lose in the low range rpm...

That's dead right. Not sure if I would rather have the up top power...
The andrew 48's are seeing some real good results about the same as the se 255's but go out further to the right with the torque curve. most of the dyno sheets are seeing around 90-5hp and just 100-105 torque coming on at 2k and running out to 4500
This isnt my sheet, though I have a set installed and she pulls like a bitch, still need to get it tuned, still finishing up my winter- draggin into spring mods
