I am going to be picking up a new Heritage in a few weeks. I do not like the stock turn signals both front and rear. I was wondering what some of you guys have done in this situation. I really like the sigs on the deluxe and will probably switch to something very close to that. Or what else is out there? I have searched and not found much.
I hear what you're saying, but to me, the only difference on those signals is overall size with the Deluxe having smaller lights. When it comes to being seen, bigger is better in my book. I would be afraid that the driving lights on the Deluxe would completely drown out the front signals where they'd be hard for traffic to see.
I didn't like the stock turn signals on my Heritage either so I replaced them about 3 weeks ago with the bullet style on the front and back. I just couldn't get used to those orange hockey puck looking turn signals on my blue bike. Cosmetically, it's the best mod I've done so far. You can get the kit with all 4 turn signals for around $115 from your local HD dealership.
Buy the HD touring signal bar for the rear. However, it wont work unless you have some sort of quick detach system for the bags, (barebacks, easybrackets, etc), these systems add some space between the bags and the fender so the bullets will fit.
I also suggest buying the run/turn/brake module for the rear lights.
I thought about the touring setup too but don't like the added space between the bike and bags.
I really didn't mind the lollipops I just didn't like the wide bar between them so I got the 9" from drag specialties. I like it much better.
I also added the LED tail light and directionals out back,
and put the smoked lens LED's in front, with the frenched look rings, I think it is much better.

nah thats why they are different colors, so that they attract more attention bro.
thanks guys. I like that lay down lisence plate is that from HD? Looks like i will be going with a quick detach and bullet sigs for both the front and the rear. and so on. and so on.
