I run the Harley Goodies extensions and find them to really help although I am not very tall. they allow me to stretch out. They offer a money back guarantee and a forum discount. See here. http://www.harleygoodies.com/hdf/
There other options as well that will move your whole board forward too. Kuryakyn makes something as does Cycle Visions. Let me know if you need pricing on those items and I can get it for you.

I have both the cyclevisions "Go Forward" kit that moves them 2" forward and the HarleyGoodies extensions that move them out. At 6'1" with a 34" inseam I have no problem stretching out now. In fact I just took a test ride on a street glide and commented that I felt cramped on it. The dealer thought I was nuts until he say on my sled. He was 5'9" and couldn't reach the controls.
I also have the extended brake pedal and the extended shifter arm on the forward control. I can move about 3" from to back on the left board without hitting anything.
I Love it, great fit for me.
It's tough to tell what will give you more room in pictures but here is one that might help if you look at your sled from the same angle and compare where the boards are in relation to your frame.
