2010 FLSTN - Leaking Fuel Tank
Has anyone heard of any recalls or issues with the fuel tanks on 2010 FLSTNs? This past fall I noticed something wrong with my ride and took it to the dealership. They told me there was a bad weld on the tank and that it needed to be replaced. Fine, warranty issue and it was winter so it didn't matter. Picked the bike back up a couple of weeks ago now that the weather turned back around. Filled up the tank at the end of my ride and fuel was running right down the electric cable connecting the fuel gauge sensor to the center cluster panel. Took the bike back to the dealer today and they tell me I need a new tank, again.
Seeing that it was purchased new and has less than 3800 miles, I am very frustrated that my bike is going to be sitting in garage for another month while the dealer orders a second new tank. If anyone has any links to a service recall notice or any helpful information, it would be greatly appreciated.
