Hey, have a 2005 Classic Springer. Have had this problem since getting the bike. It starts up without any problems, idling fine, by the time I get out of the driveway and to the first stop sign, it won't keep idle.
Idle drops really low then stalls, or as soon as I close the throttle it stalls. I end up holding the throttle open just a bit at every late. Temps here are about 15-18 celcius... probably takes about 10-15 minutes of riding before it starts to hold idle.
Bike has a set of python pipes; added a screaming eagle air cleaner and PCIII... problem is still there. Changed the IAC, still not fixed.
I had the problem before adding the PCIII and intake... was hoping that the bike needed extra fuel/timing. Problem is still there. Could it be the intake temp sensor?
My springer is a bit of a cold blooded bike. if I ride it after start up it would want to stall. So now I just give it some time to warm up. Hasn't done it since
