After about a month of waiting to get everything in, I finally installed the new handlebars on my 05 Softail Standard. Nothing fancy, just stock bars from a Heritage Classic, but they do give the bike a different look. I am pissed that the new grips I bought won't work with these bars. They are about an inch longer than most other grips and I can't get the front brake lever and master cylinder assy on with the new ones. I guess I will use them when I change the bars on my FLSTC. Will post pics later since I have some busted ribs when I took a spill the other night.
