My deluxe has 120 miles on it. Can I use the same gasket or does it need to be changed?
I would say change it.. I didn't change mine (mine was new too) and I had a leak.. I don't think aftermarket pipes work well with the stock gaskets.. I went with solid copper gaskets.. no leaks now...
This aint brain surgery here. Take the old one off, four nuts on the headpipe, loosen or remove the clamp bolt for the muffler(s) and remove, remove the bracket for the old muffs if this applies, remove head pipe.
Loosely install tailpipe bracket, Remove rear heatshield, loosely install headpipe with new gaskets, install new muffler and make sure everything is aligned to your liking, Have a beer while you stare at the bike, then start from the rear working forward to tighten everything up to factory spec, re-install heatshield, wipe entire system down multiple times with windex to remove all finger prints, again have a cold one, then start her up, take her for a ride and enjoy a job well done.
Simple. I over-thought mine when I did it and was done in under an hour thinking I must have missed something. Nope, real easy.
Then install the SE AC Kit and I believe you will notice that will be running way to lean.
You will need to either have the dealer flash the stock ECU with a Stage 1 program, or install and SE ECU (not a great idea) or install a programmable 3rd part system.
