Has anyone had any luck installing apes with factory heated grips?
I'm looking for the right 12 to 14 inch narrow apes to use with the factory heated grips. My local HD dealer says it can't be done.
My arms are very long. Like an ape I guess. Hence, I don't need all the pull back that comes with bars such as the Narrow Apes from Burly but I could live with it.
The Klock Werks Perfecta bars are interesting but I wish they were more narrow on the bottom like the 5 inch centers available from Burly and Khrome Werks.
At this point, I'm ready to make a move here so I could be happy with any of the above.
The thing that's stopping me right now is the heated grip issue. Thoughts?
man they told me an Internal throttle and internal brake and internal clutch were not possible. And look what I got! All internally wired Handlebars... If I were you I would go to BR CUstoms. They can custom make any bars for you...
