Default heritage bars

I've been told I can put some heritage bars on my wifes 02 softail standard to get her a shorter reach and a more comfortable grip. # 1, is this true?, if so nobody can tell me if I will have to get longer brake lines, clutc cables etc. If I do, how much longer, 3 over, 4 over, etc. "Any" help here will be apreciated, thanks

If you look in the back of the HD catalogue, in the cable/brake line section, it will tell you the cable length that a Heritage comes with, and it will tell you the length of the cables a Softail Standard comes with....

And if they're the same length, you're good to go.
