I have a 2009 Fatboy. My question is, will my bike with EFI have the same deep rumble as a carburated bike? I like the sound and look of the pyhon staggered or venom radius but have only seen and heard them on older bikes. Any comments will be appreciated.
I can tell the efi bikes over the carb. But the efi bikes still sound good. The clips here you can here how the efi bikes runs a bit higher rpms where the carbs are way lower lump to them
The carb vs. EFI sound thing to me is a joke. EFI is just a metered carb, and sounds the same.
If you truly want to change the sound of any bike, it starts where the sound is made, in the combustion chamber.
Drop in a 204, and the old Harley idle returns in full force. Do a little head work where the exhaust ports are opened up, and this will turn up the volume...

Mag.. thats either still a cold motor idle or its not adjusted right..
IMO it Sounds like its about 200-300 rpm's too high if thats the idle speed all the time..
