V & H Slip ons and quit baffles

V & H Slip ons and quit baffles
I am new at doing my own work on myh bike and have a dumb question. Purchase V & H slipons for my flstc and putting the quit baffles in but it seems very restrictive with the padding. Very difficult to install the baffles, especially the last half inch. Am I doing something wrong or any tips to get the baffles in a little easier?

sounds like the packing is getting bunched up. Go to Advanced Auto or some place like that, get some header wrap zip ties (SS) and use them the secure the packing material. they should slip right in then.
