Need some advice from ONLY those with EXPERIENCE, thanks.
I'm ordering some wide white walls for the newly acquired Springer Classic and I've never had white walls, so I want to know if any one brand has a better white wall as far as staying white. I know it takes more care than a blackwall, but are any of them bad, as in the white comes off or wears quickly, anything to be aware of?
Thanks.
+1 Drew, Ive had 2 sets of Dunlops and a set of avons. You have to take care of them, some guys just let the stay dirty, not me. I like them white, Bleachwhite works great as does sneaker cleaner.
I like the looks of them on my FLSTC, but I hate cleaning them. Especially when I have the bags on the bike. The brake side of both the front and back need cleaning all the time. My experience is that on any white wall, if you keep it clean, it stays clean. If you let it go, it'll never come back to what it used to look like.
Right now I think I should own stock in Westley's Bleach White.
Hello 1badbagger. I run Avon Gangster White Walls, made in England. So far all is good. Easy to clean. I run an oiled chain, rear left side tire catches oil. I wash bike every other week, when clean tires appear new..
