I have more respect for a "redneck" doing his own thing then a country club yahoo spending 40k for a premade bike so he can look cool to his friends. And someone calling another man a redneck who isn't southern is just the same as a white guy calling a black guy the N word in my book. Don't make fun of something just because you don't understand it. Just plain ignorant...

I've chose to stop pushing this issue which is why I quit responding. It's how I feel when people use any label for someone in a demeaning manner, but it's not worth arguing about over a forum. However, I could really give two ***** what you think of me or my posts.

So if someone who is not a Marine calls a Marine Devil Dog, is it like using the "N" word too?
It's his ride, that may be what he want's. He may also not hold the abilty to do such work. And he may not be able to afford like you to have someone do it for him.
Starting out in the residential HVAC service field 15yrs ago, my father told me, you may walk into a 1/2 million dollar home 1 day and a single wide trailer the next, but it's what these people have and should be respected equally. I have leved by these words since that day.

You obviously missed my point because that doesn't even make sense. I've never heard anyone using Devil Dog as a negative connotation. Jarhead would have made more sense. Anyhow, we can go on forever about this subject but this is a Harley forum so I'm done arguing about it. We'll just agree to disagree and move on.
