I got the bullet style turn signals for my 05 Heritage CLassic. I need help with the front installation of the turn signals. I can get the signals off, but don't know where to begin on the wires. Please help.....

Are the signals on the handlebars or on the passing lamps? There should be a double nut and ball joint type configuration at the top of the turn signal. I'm going from memory here so I may be totally out in left field.

They are on the light bar. I can get the light unbolted, I just am not sure where the wires go...

The bolt that holds them on is hollow and the wires pass through the bolt. After hook up, the extra wire can be either tucked in the light housing or the slack pulled back up in behind the fork cover. At least this is the way it works on my '00. I would like to see the pickures when you get them on.

But my question is where do the lights coming out of the turn signal go. I don;t know how to get the turn signal unplugged, the wire runs up behind the headlamp necille. How or where does it unplug?

I don't know for sure but I'd suspect the harness runs between the tank and the frame and unplugs under the seat. You should be able to pull the seat and see if there is harness plug underneath it running from the front of the bike. If that is the case, you'll need to pull the tank and seat to get to everything. Another option would be to cut the wires at the turn signal then resplice them using a bare butt splice and heat shrink tube. Wouldn't hurt to solder the wires in the butt splice as well. Just a thought.

I added a passing lamp bar to my '04 FatBoy and relocated my turn signals to the light bar as well. Actually I had to purchase new bullet style signals becasue there's no way (that I could figure) to simply relocate the stock handlebar mounted signals.

The wiring runs all the way back under the tank and the Harley instructions tell you how to re-pin the new connector that comes with the signals. I decided not to pull the tank for this and instead spliced the wires together inside the headlamp nacelle. You should be able to do the same. Good luck.
