Hi all, I just bought a 01 deuce from a guy and he had a Kuryakyn Pro-Series Hypercharger that was never put on. The bike has samson pipes and the carb was jetted for the pipes. Would I have to have it re jetted for the hypercharger if I put it on. Thanks for your knowledge.
I should of mentioned that the stock filter was replaced with a high flow K&N filter (screamin eagle stage1 I believe)
Thanks for the replies!

What's on there now? If it's not a high flowing air cleaner, then you'd need to go bigger with the jets. More air introduced into the engine with higher flowing exhaust will lean out the mixture.
You'd need to knock out the welsh plug under the pilot jet adjustment screw and adjust it for a freer flowing air cleaner, if you're still running the stock air cleaner. You might need to go to a 46 pilt jet. Stock is 45. If it already has a free flowing air clleaner, I'd leave it and sell that Kuyakin thing to some fish.

Sell the "hypercharger" on fleaBay....its a "hyped" gimmick and will set you off as a poser.
If it already has a high flow air cleaner, then it's probably been rejetted and you won't have to do anything about it. The hypercharger is notorious for restricting air flow though. You'll be better off keeping the K&N. You'd get more HP/Torque. If you like the look of the hypercharger, go for it, but it's not as high performance.
