Wimmer Customer Service
I'm retired military living out my remaining days in the Philippines. Several times a year, I order products from the States which include everything from clothing, tools, and parts. To eliminate exorbitant shipping cost I have the items sent to a freight forwarding company in San Francisco which consolidates the items and ships them to me via sea freight.
Recently, I purchased an oil cooler system from Wimmer Machine which they sent to my San Francisco freight forwarding company. Because my shipment is traveling within a sea container, two months passed between the time of the order to delivery to me in the Philippines. Upon opening the products, I discovered that Wimmer send Chrome coolers whereas I ordered Black. Small issue but I'm mounting these on a blacked out Night Train and the chrome just wouldn't fit my theme.
After contacting Wimmer, they acknowledged the mistake and shipped me the black oil coolers via UPS Air Freight at their cost which most likely negated any profits from the original sale. I am astounded and impressed by their customer service commitment and will not hesitate to due business with them again.
