Default HD Headlight or Cobra II Headlight
Looking for a 5 3/4 Bullet style headlight for my Train. Any reason you would choose the HD one over the Cobra II? If so why???

Have you had any problems with it? They do look alike just not sure if one is better than the other. I don't want to pay the extra $$$ just for the name.

I have the cobra II. Had it on for two years had to replace the bulb a few months back, other that no problems. Price is right also.

How is the installation? Do you have to remove anything? I read somewhere that someone had to remove there gas tank.

I've has no problem with the HD one.
You'll need to have access to the headlight plug connector under the tank.

You need a new mount for the head light. The one that comes with it does not work. You just cut and solder the new wires together.

So if I went with the HD light I would have to remove the gas tank?
