Anyone installed part # 49261-00A...rear saddlebag guards on an FLSTFB Fatboy? I have a 2010..with the HD hard leather bags....and I'd like to get the guards...powder coat em and put them on my fatty.
The guards are on page 311 of the 2011 book and note they can be installed on an 00 and later FLSTC....which I think is a Heritage Classic.
Ive seen a some pics on the forum of Fatboys with the guards and have been wondering how they did it..
Good luck , glad you started this thread
Looks like you and I are only ones interested. I can't find pics of any. I may order them when I get back LA...and see if they will fit...if so...off to powder coating they go....gloss black.
Jed....super thank you for the pic. I am running Rush Slip Ons on the right side of my fatboy Lo. Could you take 90 degree to the connection points pics of right and left side....I will have to remove tool box...no great loss ...and I might be able to sneak bars through the two pipes on the right side. Your pics will be greatly appreciated.
