Oil Filter for 2011 Fatboy Question???

Oil Filter for 2011 Fatboy Question???
Hi All, took my 2011 Fatboy to the dealer for it's 1000 mile service. It was "free" since I bought the bike there. Anyway, the dealer is 1 1/2 hours away and I got the bike home and checked the oil and it's overfilled, also noticed the oil filter looks different. The one that came on the bike looked thinner and was definately longer, both were chromed. Anyway, is the filter they used a problem and will a clean turkey baster work on the oil. Don't feel like a 3 hour round trip. Thanks!

My dealer UNDERFILLED the oil on my ONE & ONLY oil change with them. Bought the jack and the Amzoil...DONE!
Yes, a new turkey baster works great on the FB oil tank. Ask how I know. I don't know what filter you got, but I spent about $95 on a lifetime oil filter / cooler and I love it. Enjoy your nice ride!
