Default LED turn signal question

Hi,

I have what I hope will be an easy question. I currently have 2 Bullet LED turn signals on the back of my '00 Fatboy. One has some damage to it and I'd like to replace the set with a new style.

My issue is that the signals are connected to what I assume is a load equalizer by two wires (each). Most of the LED lights I've seen run off of a single wire. Do I just need to keep searching for a set with two wires, or is there something I'm missing?

Thanks,

PNH

Lights, LED or not, AC or DC need two wires. If you find something with one wire, then the other is grounded. I haven't seen too many aftermarket lights that don't have the ground wire coming out of them because they don't know if you are going to mount it to something that is grounded or not. I can't recall seeing a replacement LED turn signal with only a single wire coming out of it. (You'll have three wires if the turn signal is also set up as a running light.)
