Default LED Turn Signals Keep Blowing

I have had 2 different sets of LED tail lights, both wired with turn signal intensifiers to operate run/brake/turn as per manufacturer instructions. Both times I have had a light blow out. I thought maybe my wiring was faulty in the first set so I was very careful when wiring the second set, but it happened again. Has anyone else had issues with this?

I've got them on mine too..... I found that I had a chaffed wire that was touching metal. Fortunately the light just went out but didn't burn up. Fixed the wire and all was well. Check for chaffing where the wire comes through the fender.

Other than that already mentioned, I'll add...LEDs are very sensitive to voltage/current. What is your running voltage? A decent LED "bulb" should have been designed to easily handle 15v but not all are. Even then, beyond 15v gets less and less LED friendly unless the bulb has been designed for it.

Not all Run/brake/turn intensifiers are created equal....which one are you using? Are you sure it's compatible for LED's?

Not sure what I used the first time. But the second time i believe I used Joker Machine's own product with their lights as they suggested. I could be wrong it was over a year ago.
