I came to a conclusion that I'm gonna need saddle bags in the very near future. I also figured out I don't want black saddle bags. I've searched only a few websites & no matter what style, what brand, black leather looks like turd on an X Bones(no offense to other X Bones owners, just opinion).
Anyways, I'm all for 100% functionality, but to me, it's gotta look good on the bike too. To make the bike look real old school, nothing beats old looking brown leather. Problem is no one seems to make a brown leather bag. I'd like to get a satchel-style brown leather bag with metal buckles. No tassels, no conchos. Who's got it?
Iron Bags. They ain't cheap but the quality is incredible. Their site says they up the price 150 for custom dye. You can order them as plain or blinged as you want.
The Iron Thunder look great on the bones imo. Just check the pipe clearance.
All I'm looking for is something to carry rain gear and a lock. If I'm traveling, I'll put the luggage rack on and I've got a big travel pack.

Thanks, guys! It's definitely a start. I'll check both websites. Money's no object(@ the moment), so if I can get the bags I'm looking for from Iron Bags, I won't have to search any further. Problem is, if the money's TOO big, these are the only early "birthdaychristmas" present for the year.
I don't have my computer with me for the link, but search the forum for springer style bags by a few companies. Most will do them in distressed brown for 600 or so. Would look great on a bonz
